This is the first day of week two. It was a rainy kind-of day so we didn't get to be outside again. Olivia started milk in the morning and continued throughout the day. The evening before she didn't any insulin because she was low. I had her check again before bed to make sure she wasn't too low and she was all right.
I tried to keep her occupied all day. We read alot, painted in our nature journals, played games like dutch blitz and Quidler. We learned a new game of go fish with musical composers. The trick was to keep mind off of food. She still struggled with wanting to eat something, but continued on.
All day her meter readings were very good - right on target, so she did not take any insulin for the entire day. At night her reading was quite low, so I gave her some freshly made apple juice from the juicer. It immediately sent her stomach into a pain mode - having only had milk for so long. She still had a little stomach pain when she went to bed, but then had a good night's sleep.
